Florida Marine Science Educators Association is a principal umbrella group for professionals with this concern. An annual meeting is held in spring.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. NOAA, whose mission is to guide our use and protection of ocean and coastal resources, is the parent agency of Sea Grant. This education site is for teachers, students, and the general public.
