Florida Sea Grant and Escambia County Extension present two programs on flood insurance November 18, 2013 in Pensacola. The morning program is for real estate professionals and the evening program for members of the public. The presentations will give some background on the National Flood Insurance Program, look at how the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012 altered it, and then look at proposed legislation to “reform the reform.”
The morning program is from 9-10:30 AM at 107 West Main Street, Pensacola in the upstairs education room of the Pensacola Association of Realtors Office. The evening program is from 6-7:30 PM at 239 Spring Street, Pensacola in the downtown library.
